Just sold my E300 TD and I have to say it was a wonderful peace of kit, the only reason I let it go was that I bought a newer model. If anyone is thinking of buying one don't hesitate. There are two things to look out for however, some of them had some rust problems so check it out properly and make sure the gloplug light goes out after start up. If it stays on it means that you have one or more gloplugs that are faulty. You would think that its no big deal but on these the gloplugs have a habit of welding themselves into the head and can be really difficult to get out. Worse case scenario is head off and having them drilled out and that's a couple of grand. Apart from that they are a great car and I'm even thinking of getting another one I enjoyed the last one so much.
