C220cdi, 02 with 225k ??
Am aware of possibilty of leaks with plastic fuel lines. glow plugs not vey old.
High pressure pump seaping.
car was becomming harder and harder to start, ending in not starting at all. Blamed any/all of the above causing a worsening condition.
Coincidently the ambient temp dropped over a week and when it reach zero car would not start at all?
Was going to remove hp pump after ignoring the car for a week but thought give it one last crank for the hell of it.
Now temp is 7.5C the car started on the 3rd flick cycle of the auto start (whatever thats called)
So my question is uhhh?
Would the leaky part/parts expand in the slight rise in temp enough to reduce whatever problem exists ?? Any thoughts/ideas??? (lack of compression is not one i wish to consider...)
