SPR Autos and MB Tech are probably the best Mercedes indies in the North West that I've come across. There maybe others but these two are standout.

So went to MB Tech they ran a diagnostics check and showing that 8 injectors were out and needed re-teaching i would reccomend them they where great and very knowledgeable. My only peeded of momment was i wanted just the diagnostic check and any problems i wouldof took it back were i got it from to get it sorted instead he come told me what the problem was bjt had already ran the computer to fix the problem without asking theb charged me for it

Well it was £25 + vat just for the diagnostics report then £20 to teach the injector valves he said he was charging me an hour's labour basically. Wouldent mind but once plugged in comp does the work. Although im glad they did it would just liked to of been asked about the extra charges before they started the started the work. But late for me to say no once they alread ran the programme to do it.

Most diagnostics are charged at £60 or thereabouts. So although you’re £20 out of pocket, you’re still in the reasonable zone for the job you needed doing.

I hope it was just the injector valves needing training, however if there is no noticeable diesel leak I have been told on other models when the HP fuel pump has a seal problem it can leak back into the engine, obviously reducing the effective milage, although I imagine that would come with other noticeable side effects and issues

I dont argue it wasent excellent value just wish they ran the extra charges by me before doing the work. I can highly reccomend MB Tech very knowledgeable i even got a brew while i waited.

Not drove alot since i took it so cant comment if im seeing better fuel consumption at the momment but since the teaching in of the injector valves my car seems to be smoother and seems to of gained power.

I get what you’re saying. However I’d also suggest that had they run it by you, you’d have just said “yes” anyway so it’s still a moot point.

This has just flashed up now i know its telling me the right mirror indicater bulb has gone well im guessing that anyway but the bulb is working fine any suggestions?

perhaps a lose bulb showing an intermittent error message. It happens.
