Fuel distributor (metering unit) KE Jetronic

Does anyone know of anyone in the UK refurbishes Bosch KE Jetronic fuel distributors? I have a Mercedes 190E 1993 2.0l. My local mechanic has tried to replace the diaphragm which is worn but in doing so he has found there to be other damaged parts inside the unit (four plastics part which are seated between some springs and the diaphragm- I think I haven't seen the prob yet). Any help with this issue would be greatly appreciated

Surely, the path to go down is to source another complete fuel distributor from a breaker.

Thanks Maska - I already purchased the very kit but it did not include the parts that I need. Matt - I would have gotten one from a breaker but the chances are that the parts I need have broken down due to fuel additives/modern fuel and I believe this is the reason why a lot of 190E's end up in the knacker yard. Thanks guys

Do a google search for Bosch specialists in your area. They will be able to get the parts and re con the unit.

Also don't be afraid of the dealers. They should be able to get the parts and are often very reasonable on parts prices.

IVAN you can see on youtube just how this kit replacement is done .If you have a repair kit for the unit just have a go at it nothing to lose .
