Just noticed today a leak under the injector housing, car would not start for two days making alot of sucking noises , i can see air bubbles in the fuel lines moving into the pump when it is been cranked and today started but thereis a slight drip of deisel under one of the lower pipes that connect to the housing, there is yellow u shaped clips on each connector that seem to be only half pused in, i have pused two of them fully in and wonered is this ok?
Also is it a big job to replace thes seals and what parts will i need . many thanks to those who took the time to help on other matter`s
Regards

I think the clips are meant to look half push in, you push them in to release them.
the leak will be from the O rings on the end of the pipes, they go hard and brittle with age. I've just replaced nearly all the diesel pipes around the pump and filter housing, they are surprisingly cheap from Mercedes. the most expensive one was £6. If you can get access its a matter of seconds to change each pipe.

Mines an e250, the 5 cylinder multivalve. I managed to change all mine without removing anything, bit fiddly, but did it.

Was an E300TD, now a Lexus LS400
Pushing the clips in will make the leak worse, since to remove the pipes thats what you do.

Pull them back out.

Do a search on fuel leaks, its been discussed many times.
