Fuel leak

just had to drop the car off at my local garage to see if he can sort out a fuel leak that developed coming home.

He did a quick look and said the fuel is spurting out near the fuel filter so will need to strip it down to confirm

Is this a common issue with the E350 W212 engine?

Expensive fix or pretty straight forward?

Are they the ones with a fuel filter leak and subject to a recall.

Possibly but it has full MB service history so cant understand why not been picked up. Anyway we shall see what next week brings. Thanks for your reply...
