I'm hoping its dropped in Scotland by the time I get off Islay. Not expecting the fuel consumption to be great. Most of the roads here are single tracks that are not well maintained. Only really a couple of good roads to each of the ferry ports. Plus the fuel is expensive over here. £1.22 for diesel!!

I should have enough to get me to Lochgilphead on Thursday and fill up at the Esso there.

That's 12p/l cheaper than it was in 2007 on Lewis. It was £1.34.
