These things have been around since the 60's, they never did anything then,and they don't now. At least the wild claims about the savings are not as bad as then. There was one in the 60's called an exhaust aspriator, a little sprung loaded valve the you screwed into the exhaust manifold, the blurb that came with it said,start the engine and you will hear it working, sure enough this little valve went sput,sput sput at idle, anything over idle where the manifold suction is nil it did nothing, but there were folk out there that claimed a 30% saving.kanda said:Has anyone tried the fuel savers gagets on their cars.
