Can anyone give me a diffinitive answer on the capacity of my fuel tank. It's a 209 CLK 220 Diesel. Various places say 63l some say 62l but is there a further reserve tank on this?

Seems to be a lot of confusion on this. I myself have a C350 which says it has an "extended range" fuel tank. However, the manufacturer's data shows it having the same 59ltr tank as the rest of the range.

However, I filled my car when it hit reserve - so 59 litre tank with 8 litre reserve - yet I filled with 58 litres before the pumped clicked off, not 51 as you'd expect if the manufacturer's data were correct. So, in my C350 Estate I have a 66 ltr tank, as proven by putting 66 litres in it without it overflowing.

Hopefully someone with your exact model can comment, but the numbers in MB's own documentation isn't always correct.
