Gear selector arm removal

Hi all have 2011 Mercedes c200 not going into reverse and is hard to get into second am replacing the gear selector i have centre console removed only thing i cant do is where gear selector is hooked on to gearbox cant get it disconnect so can someone please help me out

Looks like the selector rod (Part 100 below) is removed from underneath the car

Hi there yeah ino where it is but I can't release it from gearbox I want to know if that week pin pushes out or how do I release it

I'd say Part 40 in the link I posted is a circlip which needs to be removed, then Part 130 would release the rod from the selector.
At the other end of the rod, it appears there is a similar clip that slides off and free's the rod completely.
