My 1998 C 180 manual gearbox is giving me a bit of bother.
When I am moving lever back out of reverse it doesn't spring back to neutral as it should. I also find changing back down to second is not as easy as it should .
Is this a big problem or can it be easily solved/repaired.
Will I be running into an expensive job.
NB. car is due a service very shortly.

Any ideas on this one please.

I just want to add to this... Today I lost first and second gears altogether..
Any ideas
