Off piste, not off my head.....Fiat Panda 4X4, well you did say “off-piste”.
That's next year...Bus Pass ?
I had an aunt that used to travel around the West Mids on her bus pass 3 or 4 times a week. She thought it was great to spend half a day on a bus/buses to get a loaf and a bag of sugar - usually from different towns... She knew the timetables better than the bus company... She could also get free local rail back in the late eighties.Wife and I have had a bus pass for more years than I care to admit to (10+) and have used them only about twice in all that time! Living in a village with an hourly service makes it a non starter as long as we can drive. For example, I looked at taking the bus from our village 4 miles from Tenterden to Canterbury for a bit of shopping. 45 mins in the car to the park and ride, 2+ hours on the bus including waiting around in Ashford for 45 mins for the connection - and that's all just one way. However, whenever we use the park and ride we make a point of using the bus pass when we get onto the bus into town, don't need to as it's included in the parking charge but it activates our bus pass and makes it easier come renewal time when the local council want to cancel it!!
Used mine a few times in the summer. Took the Merc to an Aircon specialist. Dropped it off, walked into Warwick, sat in the market Square for a coffee and toast. Felt like being on holiday. Got the next bus home. Ten minutes later the garage phoned to say, 'Come get your car.'Wife and I have had a bus pass for more years than I care to admit to (10+) and have used them only about twice in all that time! Err no... You can do the trolley run if you include running through the checkout...Do I get a prize - a trolley run in Tesco would suffice lol
When are you adding the Polestar performance upgrade? So here's a quick pic of the new beast..... Volvo XC40 T4 Inscription All Wheel Drive, Petrol, 13,000 miles, one owner, full dealer service history with Xenium Pack (360 degree camera, full length tilt and slide sunroof, Park Assist including parallel and 90 degree parking plus park out) Also has the Winter Pack which includes heated steering wheel and front screen. The inscription is the top spec anyway but with the extra packs it really is well loaded. Bought from a Volvo Main Dealer with 12 months warranty, MOT Guarantee and 12 months Mobilo equivalent. Also has a 30 day 1500 mile swap option. I'll take some more pics soon...

Give me a chance! I'm still wondering where to install the yorkie bar holder.....When are you adding the Polestar performance upgrade?
The tyres are 235/55x18 as I was going for comfort over style and so avoided the 19"& 20" options though the profiles on those are not too bad. When the Michelin Primacy's wear down I shall swap to an all season tyre, coupled with the 4 wheel drive I should be sorted for most conditions.Nice.
Substantial tyres as well (sensible on our roads)
It's on the list if we have to swap the Xtrail out so will be interested to hear your views and usage please....
I’ll take a stab at ~£25kNice. Do hope you will indeed stay here and do reviews, contribute etc.
Is it inappropriate to ask the price on this forum?!
