I noticed you said the 24v head wont fit, why?,i thought I'd quite alot of homework on this, and checked all the relevant clearances and tolerances ect to the 12v block and it seemed ok to me.
But, well I know you know the score,so can you tell why it wont,it'll probably (known me) be something Iv'e completely overlooked, cheers.

What I also meant to say Andy, why do you pay so much for a 24v as to the 12.
I remember when I had the 12v Senny then the 24v,the diffirence was night/day, but I take it its not the case with the Mercs then.

Hi Merc

I had to take a deep breadth before I wrote this. The 12v and 24v engines are completly different.

I my self wouldn't pay the extra. But that's me.

I echo the sentiments experessed by Susie. If your short on cash. Why o Why do you insist on throwing it away. As I have said to you before. Whether you take my advice or not is entirely up to you.

But with respect I cannot continue to answer questions which nobody in their right mind would contemplate carrying out. Especially when expense is big criteria in their decision making. Get  yourself  a K reg 300E with sensible millage & be happy.

Regards

Andy
