Hi guys,

Does anyone have the instructions for the replacement of the heater matrix please?

I know how to remove the dash panels etc... so no need for these to make it easier for you.

For a 2001 C180 (W203)

Thanks in advance.

As all of the center console has to come out, I have that info already that I can send, the final dash bit I can print off for you, it will be handy for those replacing flaps etc

Thanks Malcolm.

I would really appreciate it if you could maybe email these to me, anything you have that may help me to replace the heater matrix.

My flaps are ok which has been tested on the mercedes star, so after checking everything it has been diagnosed with a collapsed heater matrix by the indie mechanic.

I can take the top dash off, glove box, radio console area, centre console, under steering dash panel, instrument panel.

Thanks.

These things wait for the cold weather, sounds a ball of wool best of luck and take pictures if you have a memory like mine.

You have probably left a note of where it is somewhere, if only you could find it.

Tell me about it!

I was thinking of doing a full write up if I do happen to replace the heater matrix myself, I will make an informed decision after I have a look at the instructions to help me understand how hard/easy it would be and if I should go ahead with the DIY.

Thanks for your kind words.

Thanks Malcolm, much appreciated.

Do you need my email address?

What would you rate the difficulty in doing this job after the dash panels etc... has come off?

Any idea what will be a reasonable quote from an indie to get the heater matrix replaced?

Thanks again.

Thank you so much for everything you have sent me Malcolm. It will definately going to help me a great deal, although I have taken the panels off previously the manuals will still help speed things up for me instead of guessing as I go.

You wouldn't have the manual of how to actually get to the heater matrix & remove it will ya?

Thanks again Malcolm.
