If you google rear park sensors there's a national company that comes up quite near the top - can't remember the name but its something like parkingudrive or such-like. They did them on my Volvo through the dealer when I had that new and dealer colour coded them F.O.C. and they were perfect. Cost me £185 but the website says colour coding costs about £35 more so around £220 and they come to your house/work, etc.

However dealer I bought my current car from (Merc' Direct - Balsall Common) quoted me £300 colour coded by them. Its an aftermarket company but they will warrant the work on the Merc' cover if I let them sort it. Ask your dealer if they do only Merc' items or also aftermarket as well, most garages do (I'd even cynically suggest they do aftermarket but charge you OE prices)

outsmartsmart I think you said it was called ParkItRight. Mil, try search.

http://www.parkitright.com/

I suspect you'll find a number of businesses that can do the job for a lot less than 500 quid. You can buy kits for 65 pounds if you're hard core enough to fit it yourself.

Oh, I asked for quotes from Mercedes-Benz Stockport and Macclesfield and both said they use third parties. Stockport said they even fit new cars using a third party for cars that don't come with them factory fitted.

That's the one Paulmdx!!!!

Its the fitting that seems to be the biggest proprtion of the charge, the actual parts are reasonable and IMO the colour matching isn't too steep.
