Great, you found it! is it worth it for me to take out the MAF to clean it, or just take it to a mechanic shop?
I thought all MB were made at the same place. Is my car different than other 1998 S500?

I asked as I found that you car is a W140 from a Chinese site. Your Vin looks different to normal (or at least normal for over here )

You cant go wrong in finding it,it looks ´like the one in the pic I sent, the air cleaner fits on top of it,and there is the 5 pin round connector pluged into the side of it.

The reason I removed my post was that I said there wasn't one. What I should have said is that there wasn't one on the inlet manifold link I had posted from the Russian site. By then you had posted the picture of where it is so my post was redundant and an error.
