HELP - Just bought a ML270 Y reg

One of the key fobs the key has been broken off and you can only open and close the car with this and the other key fob we got will only turn on and off the engine.

We need to buy a spare key and how can I get the existing key fob to work?

The only way is to order a new key from mb!

As Sam-Unit says - only obtainable from a Dealer. Logbook, passport, drivers licence, letter from your Mum and around £175 should secure a new keyfob.

If your key is operating the ignition, but not unlocking the doors via the remote, it may just need a re-sync.

To re-sync the remote.

Put it into ignition, Turn to pos2 (ingition lights on but engine not started), remove key, Hold Lock button down and press unlock 5 times.
