Hello further Merc owners

I need your help. My e-class has a turbo oil leak. Mercedes said the turbo needs replacing and it will cost £3000. Does anyone know any place in London that can fit a new turbo for a sensible cost ??

Give Janspeed or Turbo Technics a call. They rebuild turbos and can give you a ballpark figure for a rebuild. They may have that unit on the shelf

Rebuilding turbos is a pretty everyday task for this kind of company

You should be able to just get a swap for a rebuilt turbo. Probably £300-£500 max.

I shoudnt think it would cost more than £200 to get fitted by a decent independant.

If you find a local MB indi garage near you they are bound to know a few contacts.
