Help needed with brake lights

Hi need help with above problem, brake lights are on all the time will not go off.
Anybody got any ideas car is clk 230 Avantgarde w208 on a 51 plate

I assume that the switch is behind the trim, if so might have to wait till morning. If the lights go out then is the switch broke if not what else could cause this.
Do you think it is a garage job?

Yes just unscrew the cover,,(can give you details if you wish )

then unplug the switch, this is the easiest thing to try first

Disconnected top connecter and brake lights went off left bottom connecter in ,had BAS on display visit workshop, hoping is just switch and is it cheap

You could join up again and pull the pedal back, to see if it goes out, if not replace the switch 10 and the other messages will go away on their own
