Your Mercedes
GLC 220d
Hi all,

Hoping someone can help me here as I am totally inexperienced. I have a GLC 220d 2017 Coupe and I am looking to change the alloys to something like this because I really like the style. Now, I have a few questions to do with fitment and also some general advice on how those non-OEM alloys tend to hold up.

Regarding fitment, from what I understand, I'm going to need a 20mm spacer because my rear tires are ET20 and these alloys are ET40. Is there anything else I need to consider / purchase regarding fitment? Can anyone recommend a reputable brand of spacers? Because I heard badly made spacers can be problematic and damaging to the car.

As regards experience with non-OEM alloys, does anyone have any recommendations? Any alloy brands that are good and some that I should stay clear of? The last thing I want is my entire alloy shattering because I've fitted something made of shoddy materials.

Thanks for taking the time to help. Much appreciated!

Best,

Harry
