Hi, I've just bought a C220 cdi coupe and my windscreen washers are currently cleaning the car behind me. I have tried to manually alter the jet direction using a pin but they won't seem to budge. Can anyone advise me how to sort this minor, but annoying, problem out?

Believe it or not, you can buy tools for adjusting the jets, saw one on e-bay last month.

I use a safety pin, opened up, it never fails although it usually takes a few attempts to get it right.

a safety pin is the way to go---it may take a bit of jiggling but it will do it
