I was driving South out of Dorking on the A24 yesterday when looking in my wing mirror I saw this cloud of dust approaching fast fromm behind. A few seconds later this beautiful dark blue 600 Pullman levitated past. A combination of battle-cruiser and magic carpet. Rock steady on the road and moving like he had just engaged warp drive. A fantastic sight.

Sadly, if your car is that recognisable (only blue one in the UK), then you really have to behave yourself! Otherwise, the Old Bill just need to ask stumpy, and you're nicked!!


I had the same problem when I had the only red S**B in Cyprus in the 1970s. Happily, they mistook me for one of the good guys!
