Hi i NEED help turbo/particulate filter

Hi ,
i gota 203 (c class) 220cdi 2004 reg
the fault code is 2641-008 (using the star diagnostics)
the fault is there is no/turbo lag at low revs upto about 3,000 revs turbo is good when you kick down though and after 3,000rpm
it had a non-genuine turbo fitted sum where and i have just fitted a new MB back pressure switch .
any help would be much thanked i personaly think it could be the module on the turbo seeing as it is a non-genuine 1.

oh and also it has a particulate filter and im guessing the old turbo had oil leak so there-fore could be blocked but on actual values only on 17% blocked but im not sure if the actual values only counts sutt or if it would know about the oil blocking it ??

If you had it on star,then it would have given you more of a fault code than just "P" codes,

Sounds like a DPF sensor fault to me, bolted to the rear of the airbox next to the gearbox dipstick tube,

cheers i'm only 18 and aint done much with particulate filters and i thought that was blocked at the start till i went on actual values and seen it was 17% ,

is there any way i can check the sensor withot fitting a new 1 and aint got a scope anymore got broke by my brother ( the muppet )
and wat type of sensor is it ??

Its a sensor, it measures the pressure!!

Its a common fault, has the car thrown on the engine light!!

Still dont understand, if the car has been on star, what did the fault come up with???

basically it came in for a back pressure sensor which my brother fitted
then he test drove and the turbo still didn't kick in at anythin under 3,00rpm
then he put it on the star and got that faul code and fault and then decided to give me the job ...
i only know this and that another garage fitted a non genuine turbo .
the fault is somthing to do with booste pressure
i know what i'm telling you isn't the perfect story but it is all that i know.
i think the sensor ur telling me to change is the 1 my brother changed
then it had no fault but now has booste pressure fault and filter is only 17% blocked

Re-reading these posts,

1, what was the star fault, not codes, what did it say! star gives you real time faults, not codes, it do include a numbered code but gives you the fault as is logged!!

2,forget the DPF filter, they as a rule don't muck up, there is a boost pressure sensor, they only show as a rule, that the turbo waste gate is sticking!!

Can you post the short test results so i can see them!!
