High engine idle

Hi. I have a mercedes E300 bluetec hybrid 2013 w212 with 70 k miles. .From few days it started to have a weird symptom. When i accelerate (automatic gearbox) the engine is on high idle 2.5....3.0 and changing gears very slow and even when is changing the engine idling is still high .No warning in dashboard no noises no banging absolutely nothing .Do you know what could be? Possibly a vacuum leak or a snapped vacuum line,

Check all vacuum lines around engine/injectors/throttle.

an automatic does not drop to idle when changing gears, well at least it should not.
Are you sure its not in limp home mode which would restrict performance.
Perhaps a session at you local indie would help to detect what the issue is.

Should ask, what is idle when at rest and in N or P

Hi, many thanks for help.. Yes it is when i press the accelerating.. Is like don't change gear.. Powerless

that does sound like your car is in limp mode, best bet is to have any codes read by an indi so that the fault can be identified.
