High mileage AMG 55 - are there any?

Anybody out there run up serious miles on an AMG55 engine? Any major problems to be wary of as the miles pile on?

On the one hand, the AMG engine is so understressed 99% of the time I can't imagine anything ever wearing out - but on the other hand, it's a very complex beast so perhaps there are things that do wear out....

Any real world experience of 50K+ AMG cars would be welcome. Mine has just over 50K, so would be good to know what to keep an eye out for.....

A chap I do with with every now and then has an SL55 AMG on a 2004 and has done 80k in it since new. He spends a lot of time on the road and has had no real problems apart from the roof jamming once when being folded down. Not sure what it would be worth now but he sees no point changing it with all he has lost on it.........still looks cracking as well

DAVES E55AMG has done galactic miles in his with nothing going wrong (not as far as he's said anyway).

It's coming up to 100K should get there by the middle of Feb. "NO PROBLEMS" engine wise what so ever "touch wood" just keep it serviced it's now 5 1/2 years old.
