Hot air

The heater in my SLK only sends out warm air, I can't get it to blow cold.
I have gone through the site, and I am guessing the problem is my duovalve, my car is non-aircon, can anybody confirm my suspicions?

It should be that as they fail in the hot mode,,not very common though for both sides to fail at once

Indeed it is called that, do you have a voltmeter where you could check the voltage going to it

Yes, I have got a multi meter, should I check there's power getting to it? is it on a fused circuit? my blower motor is a little rumbly, can that affect it?

Though it is a pulsed voltage going to it, some sense can be made with a volt meter, unplug the connector from the duo valve, and there are 4 wires I think, 2 for each side, just plug into 2 of them and change the heater settings and the voltage should change, max voltage when set to cool.

Though nothing to do with this, if the fan motor is noisy, it would pay you to drop it and lubricate the bearings
