How can I tell what suspension this S Class has? VIN attached.

Hi Guys,

I've been running this VIN WDD2210562A130540 through mbdecoder.com but it doesn't say much about suspension - or maybe I missed it.

Google says airmatic is standard with optional ABC. I would assume it's just air but how can I confirm ABC vs Airmatic?

The decoders don't seem to show.. or it's something ambiguous and I don't know the code. I hate the 7Zap website lol, find it confusing.. It did remind to try my WIS though.

I discovered it has Airmatic by selecting the components for both ABC and Airmatic.. on the ABC items it says item not specific for this car... Airmatic it is.

This is the S350 in question - I am trying to convince a friend to buy it.. after export tax refund it is a serious deal.

EDIT: I have checked the engine number and it is safe from balance shaft issues.

It's a convoluted process, but basically you get back some of the (pro rata) tax that was initially paid upon registering the car.

You basically get the car inspected before you leave to get confirmation of amount etc. Then you have a bit of time to re-register the car in another country. Once re-registered elsewhere you go back to the Irish government with the info and they will send you the cash.

An oversimplification but that is the general concept.

If the decoder says nothing it's whatever is standard (airmatic). If it had ABC there would be an option code.

Optional on S Class, according to Wikipedia.... so it must be true
