I have noticed that almost all of these cheap fast EVs are driven like grade A numpties.

Like a child being given a bb gun.

Have to say though, having test drove a few, they are grin inducing and very addictive.

Our open fire puts out quite a bit of smoke. I like to think of it as releasing the carbon previously captured by trees, for new trees to absorb.

Dont you have you have to plant 10 new trees though. The SL63 carbon neutral log burning foundation

a little while back a Tesla of some description pulled alongside me at the lights .... he was obvious trying to impress his passenger, but I've never seen anything take off as fast as that car did ... it was unbelievable! A 'super car' wouldn't have been able to keep up! My Smart, despite its 84bhp definitely couldn't

I presume AMG driver's haven't bought an AMG to drive like Nuns, they like the acceleration and sense of speed too, of course they do . There are plenty of numpties in ICE cars aswell.

The difference is AMG's are built to handle the performance, uprated suspension, chasis, brakes, parts etc and they do not carry the weight.

Take a look at Tesla Model S 2017 - 2020 for sale, many have already had suspension parts replaced and are on 2nd sets of rotors....

Agreed, proper AMGs are purpose built for speed/acceleration/handling and they do it very well. And presuming they are driven very hard. So pretty sure things wear out on them too. Not exclusive to EVs by no means.

There is nothing to compare to really, 0-60 in 3 secs ad 162 top speed, brakes are the best i have ever had , just clicked 30k and disk show no signs of wear. drove a mates s5 last week and tbh it didnt feel fast just to much noise for very little go so to speak, not much you can buy with 483hp for this kind of money.

It is all about how they are marketed and sold. AMGs are marketed/sold as high performance vehicles, Teslas and the like are marketed as green, planet saving vehicles - they just happen to be able to out accelerate most super cars. Scarier still is Tesla are now making pickups that have similar performance

That’s what I meant
The 911 is the only car that has really moved me out of all the other modern stuff I’ve driven and to top it off whereas everything in this day and age seems to be styled by imbreds who must take a builders butt crack for inspiration, the 911 is elegant.
