Hi all,looking for a bit of advice. i'm off to the south of france tomorrow for my last run in my C43 AMG. Could anyone tell me how much it is roughly worth? it cost 62k new is a 'S' plate 1998 with 102k in vivanite green and has fsh with £k's off reciepts and paperwork it has only covered 25k in past four years as it usually stay's in the garage over winter...

Cheers for that, i really don't have a clue of it's worth.mercedes couldn't tell me but the salesman told me to ask on this site.It is a stunning looking car and better looking than the one on the pistonhead site,i don't want to sell it but have to as my employers are turning me into Mondeo man next month so two cars plus a company motor is a bit much.how do i get foto,s of it on this site? the one's i have on my computer won't upload.

Have you an acount on something like photbucket? upload your image to that and then copy the links? that should work.

Otherwise are your photos too big (memory wise) if so reduce the size / quality (it will still look fine on the web.

W202 C43 Amg

Hello all, just drove to cannes and back this week in the C43 for the last time.I will be putting a new mot on it and selling it on to some lucky buyer in the next few weeks, looking for some advice on it's worth hope you can help me and hope the pictures show the condition it's been kept in.
It's a 98 on a 'S' plate with 106k FSH and cost 62k when new. no dents or scatches and has been kept as standered since new.it has all the toy's with 2 tone (green/black) leather. any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Have a look at what they are selling for, this one was only on 65K and a year newer £8.5K.

The colour may also be aquired taste against black or silver ones?

Looks really good in the photos. I think it might sell well on e-bay. Been a few good reports lately and my son-in-law also sold his car for way more than the trade offered him. Could try it for 7 days with a sensible reserve or get a friend to put in a minimum bid. If two or three take a shine to it, it is the kind of tasty car that could get bid up to a nice figure.

Doubt the plates worth much on its own but may sway a buyer? its not a private as such is it, just a standard S630 OSL ?
