How much should I put my w123 up at?

Very sadly I have to put my w123 280E up for sale, (as I'm in in pursuit of a 356 Porsche) but I really don't have much of a clue as to values - they seem to vary from £200 to £2000+..

So that I don't inadvertently make this an advert, could someone let me know what costs what in the world of w123's? I'll resist the temptation to fully describe it, but I'm hoping its worth a bit more than a white 200 manual with velour and lots of bodywork..

Thanks all.

Hi Johnny, prices for W123s are extremely subjective, it will go for whatever someone wants to pay. Condition is the overriding factor though.

My 300D will be going soon :( so I'm keeping an eye on prices. I think a lot is down to luck; if someone is looking for one then you will get a good price, if no-one's after one at the time it will just be sold as an 'old' car. Keep an eye on t'ebay.
