Hello all,

To dim the lamps on the dashboard of the MB is quite simple, turn the button on the dashboard and that is it. I have a problem which is the illumination of the radio/tel/nav is too bright for me when driving in the night. Is there a way to reduce this brightness?

Kind regards,

Robert

There should be a brightness setting somewhere probably under “System Settings” or “Vehicle” depending on your particular era Comand/Audio 20

Have you set the Sat nav to automatically turn the (night setting) screen dark at night?
It's done in the setting in Comand.

Also goes dark if you drive into a part of a road with overhanging trees cutting out the light - then goes back automatically to normal when you come out of the darkness!

I've found out that if the system is not switched on it doesn't aluminate, that might seem obvious but everything else in the car does. The on/off button however is illuminated so obviously it can be seen in the dark. So the problem I thought I had, doesn't exist. Is there a setting I can use so it can be illuminated all the time. 20201004_152336.jpg
