Hp diesel pump replacement

Ive just replaced a leeking high preassure pump in my ml270 now it wont fire,ive checked all connections diesel is coming out at injectors but still wont fire any ideas

Have you connected the low pressure pipes in the right place?

I thought of that so tried them both ways still nothing

Take the air intake pipe off the EGR and give it whiff of Easy start

It’s got an airlock, You need to crack a fuel pipe at the common rail or injector whilst cranking it over. When it starts up tighten the pipe back up.
