But the camera housing is smaller than the equivalent mirror therefore less wind resistance therefore less energy being used for forward momentum.I still don't get over the fact that these green vehicles have cameras for mirrors. I mean they will use electricity to power them where a mirror is powerless and uses no energy therefore should be the greener option????
A few years ago Honda experimented with hydrogen power in California with the Honda Clarity(?). Owners simply filled up at a petrol station. Wonder why it never took off? Too advanced for the time maybe.Hydrogen is looking like the only serious way to power a green vehicle in the near future

How economical is it?Not sure about the US, but the cost of Hydrogen fuel in the UK is still a big issue as it's around twice that of petrol/diesel.
In the broadest of terms, the last time I looked at it, running costs in £ per mile of Hydrogen are approx twice that of Petrol/Diesel which are twice that of electricity with a mix of home and commercial charging, availability of Hydrogen right now is rather like the proverbial rocking horse apples but I'm sure in time it will improve. How economical is it?
Aberdeen, the Oil town going Hydrogen, ironic but what a marketing coup for the hydrogen industry?Aberdeen is expanding their hydrogen buses to 25 buses.
