I am a newbie!

Hi,
I have just bought an SLK 230, 2000 so am new to this club. I LOVE the car but have a few niggles. Firstly, where is and what is the pse please?
The supercharger is rattling like a diesel engine and want to know if it's just about to give up on me. Lastly, the aircon is not working- before I get the system recharged only to find that the compressor is broken, are there any common issues with it?
Sorry if I am posteing on the wrong page but will hopoefully get the hang of things as time goes on.

PSE is the pump that controls the roof and locking and a few more things

Just had my PSE replaced under warranty (fortunately).

The PSE is found in the boot, down on the bottom right hand side next to spare wheel and jack.

Superchargers can rattle a bit, depens how loud it is really!!!!

The rattle you mention could be exhaust the front section clamp bolts rot away causing a rattle and exhaust blow.
