So I like to see Thread subjects relative to the question. Any chance of members being a bit more accurate in the subject text?

Just putting "Help!", or "340TE", or "Broken", or "Wanted" in the subject results in me simply deleting the message as I can't be arsed to reply if you can't be arsed to ask me a question.

I am sure the more tolerant forum members will simply not be able to resist helping, but as the years progress and I become more and more grumpy, I find myself not bothering to help out If the subject does not interest me...

I would be inclined to agree with you, however your own post is a case in point the title of your thread should have been “I'm a pedant.....more detail in thread title please”
“I'm a pedant...” just tells me you are an intellectual.

Here is an excellent title in today’s electronic section
“98 E200 Auto wont start & now stuck in "P" and handbrake won't release: HELP “
