Independent specialist online service history

The online service history is owned by MB, but I'm sure I read somewhere that some indies are allowed to access and update it. Is this right?
And can anyone recommend a high quality genuine MB indy specialist in/around Lancashire, ideally Preston?

My Indie updated mine to say that the auto box was serviced.

All Mercedes specialists with Star/Xentry can update your service record and retrieve previous service history.

I have no personal knowledge of this outfit,but they have excellent Google reviews.
