Is it possible to fit a K and N Induction Kit to a 1991 190E? I noticed that their is like a mixer adjuster screw thing in the standard airfilter box, would this be a problem if I was to fit an aftermarket airfilter system?

Just my friend has one fitted to his Vectra and it sounds quite nice :)

thanks

ok, after looking around the net I found a K and N Air filter to go in the origianl box... would this make the same sound as an Induction kit?

I'm pretty sure that the only way you will achieve the same noise is with the induction kit. Replacement cartridges in the original airbox will improve air flow but not alter the sound characteristics that much.

ok, will have a look at it again sometime and see if I can mod something up with an induction kit... Just that adjuster screw seems a bit in the way :( ...

will sound nice as I have fitted a 5inch Big Bore Rage Exhaust and had the Centre Silencer removed and replaced with a straight Pipe. Sounds like a Scooby now and is not as loud as what I thought it was going to be :)

thanks
