Hi all, having some issues with my 2017 C200D and the infotainment system which doesn’t seem to allow me to change the track using the rotary wheel of touchpad on my iPhone when connected with a lead in either of the USB outlets which was working previously.

From what I can see on the Mercedes Me App an update was performed 8/10 not sure if this may have caused the issue?
Any help to resolve would be appreciated or if anyone else has had this issue?
Thanks

Have you tried a new cable
Yeah tried new cable and both USBs still the same. Funnily enough someone else I know had the same issue after an update

Then a call to mb dealer is in order.
Moden cars are like bloomin iphones, update to fix one problem needs another update to a fix another problem caused.

Yeah though of course it carries the £135 diagnostics charge!

Well not if you argue the fault is due to thier upgrade. MB may already be aware and have a patch.

they will not be able to diagnose why this new fault exists,

and their ability to listen and even understand will be more limited than you give them credit for. If its really a conflict between merc updating the comand system and apple throwing more randomware at their phones, then we should get lots of owners in the same boat and a fix might turn up in the next 6 months if lucky

a starting point is put your phone on a car that's not updated and see where you are
and connecting an earlier version of iOS to a car with before and after merc update, and then you have something to go on

I have just tried on another music platform (Spotify) and can skip tracks successfully on here with the rotary wheel and touchpad however I can’t scroll through playlists or browse my library on the screen as I can with Apple Music
