My SL 320 has had a longstanding a misfire and, after my local garage changed coil packs, plugs and just about everything else including the air in the tyres (joke) I gave up and gave the car to a Merc specialist. They've had the car for a couple of weeks, after diagnosing a bad injector, but have said there are two types: one is readily available but the ones for my car is as rare as hen's teeth. Anyone heard of this? I would think there are dozens, if not hundreds, of SL320's on the road so is this going to become a problem in the future?

Best to use an EPC and your VIN to find the correct MB part number. Then Google that number and see what returns.
