Already have done but nothing garage guy said that it was coming from the turbo side of the intercooler as he reved the engine and heard a rush of air from that particular point

Typically split hose, usually in the inside of the bend, often hard to see till hose removed.
If it uses henn clips to hold the hose (the end of the hose will be metal) there is an o-ring inside that can leak (henn clips can be removed with the correct tool or with patience and care a screwdriver can pop the wire clip up).

You don't have bank two. Bank 2 is only on V6, V8, and V12 engines.

There are two hoses. One in, one out. Follow the pipework from the turbo to the intercooler then back from intercooler to inlet manifold.
Hoses are the biggest rubber ones in the engine bay.

Not all cars use Henn clips.

Oops forgot sorry '
I removed the front bumper today had a route around saw the hose from the turbo to the intercooler and the other hose from the intercooler to the inlet
It's a tight squeeze so couldn't realistically get my hand up to check it out.

As long as no fire risk u cud have someone on accelerator boot it and spray some wd 40 about the place and see if you see the spray getting diverterted. Or just bite bullet and remove them car makers only have interest in how easy kit is to install on the assly lines, don't give a shxx how much hassle for u or guy ur paying.!

May not work. Often the split requires a bit of boost to open up and you can't generate enough boost while the engine isn't under load.

Yes that would fix it but you may need a defibrillator when you see the price.

Need to replace them for a upgraded hose with the clamps the normal mercedes clips are crap and will always leak I replaced my outlet hose last year and it popped this year under boost thought I blew a tyre then car went into limp mode. I have the replacement with the clips coming but they don't last so trying to find a shop that sells the upgraded pipes with the clamps, an American YouTuber I watch fitted them and says its way better performance. I'm planning on getting a remap soon to so the pipes will need to be better than standard.

Can't see why replace boost hose if undamaged, proper clamp yes.

Because they go bang my last standard one lasted 1 year and I have not yet done a remap. Better to be safe than sorry and the clamps won't go over the clips on the standard hose unless you cut the metal part off then it will be to short too.
