It will still come off with heat but it's a lot more difficult....

Ah ok, so it was £300 for all the parts you had done not just the interior pieces?
Sadly my knees don't like sports bikes these days, before the Tuono I had a K8 GSXR1000 which I absolutely love but following a serious motorcycle accident a few years prior to that I eventually had to sell it. A days ride out to the north Norfolk coast would leave me regretting it for the following 2 - 3 days.
The Tuono was a blast, complete hooligans bike when you wanted it to be, which soon ends up being most of the time away from towns. It won't have the power of the H2 but I defy you to ride one and not come back with a smile on your face.:)

OK so it's not the best wrap job you will have seen but this is the first time I've done any wrapping, I may go back and do it again having learnt a few things in the process. That said personally I think it's an improvement on the silver, the photos aren't the best as they were taken on my mobile phone and the ones of it back in the car were with just the interior light in my garage.
Now I have the doors left to do although I'm still uncertain whether or not I should have gone for the gloss finish, comments good or bad welcomed? :)

Looks really good gramey, my Jag had the carbon fibre effect and it blended well with the black leather.
No body will dislike what you have done!

The bottle of red wine helped I take it? :p

    Very impressed, really good job.

I have just ordered some gloss black for certain parts of my interior

Thanks for the comments guys, I decided against painting as you can't reverse it, other than replacing the parts, if you don't like it.
I tried my best to do a decent job but there are a couple of minor imperfections which gloss black wouldn't be so kind to. I shall do the doors this evening but no plans at this time for a career change!

I think you have done a great job on the wrap but to me it just doesn't look right on an SL, sorry :(. Maybe it looks better in person.

That looks a good job regardless of being a first attempt or not. Well done.

Looks like a pretty decent job there Gramey though I'm a little unsure if carbon suits it (but anything is better than the silver).
I get your point about painting it but the flip side is that unless you were going back to standard it wouldn't have mattered.

I'll get you a pic of Malcolm's tonight.

From the photos, it looks good to me as well and certainly an improvement over the silver. Personally, I like gloss black and have it in both my GLC and my wife's Mini. It does show the dust and fingerprints though so may challenge your inner OCD if you are that way inclined!

I like the silver and wouldn't change mine. If I'd had any kind of wood finish it would have been gone in a flash.

Thanks for the further comments, just to clarify the wine bottle was an empty left over waiting to be put in the recycle bin, I understand those who don't like it, after all we are all individuals. Strangely enough whilst I think some of the wood trim can look a little plasticky I would have preferred a decent colour wood trim to the silver and I wouldn't have changed it.

It was only because I was too tight to cough up £300 for second hand wood trim but wanted to change the silver hence why I ended up with this, which personally I prefer to the silver. I may change it in the future and go with the gloss but for now I'll see how this stands up, I'm doing the door trims tonight. :)

If you like wood finishes you can have them dipped. There's lots of choice too.
