VI Monitor

Why not fit a monitoring system so you can see and log what parameters are being altered as you drive. You could then monitor charge boost, mixture strength, throttle opening, MAP sensor output, MPG (LOL)..etc.

Well actually I do already have one ! I have had it for a year now, it monitors many things but I dont think it measures supercharger boost, I am not sure if the manifold pressure reading would be relating to the reading from the MAP sensor though. I have to spend more time on it, have a read and see what you or others who may know better think of it.
It costs around £280.00 from memory.

Various Display Readings from the VI Monitor .

Perhaps I should start start a new thread about it?

A diesel
It claims it monitors 15 parameters from the OBD!! socket, so it should be.

Monitor various parameters like speed, revs, engine load, water temperatures and pressures as well as many more* on 3 individual easy to read gauges.

My 2007 E280 CDI had similar power loss to that described by Brabus. STAR diagnostics indicated a faulty turbo and MB replaced the whole turbo under their Approved Used warranty.

Seriously, glad you've got it sorted. I must admit, I would have gotten rid.
