Hi, im 22, i live in noway and im lookin for a car, i found mb c-class c350e T-model. Its priced at 340k NOK, ish 35k usd. It has driven 50k km, is that a good price? I feel its too cheap for what you get.

What are your opinions qbout it?
Pros and cons?
Is it worth it?

Welcome
Not sure about Norwegian pricing, by all accounts from what I've seen it's much higher than the UK.
The Mercedes PHEV's (and Hybrids) don't have the best of reputations, it will give you almost no range so compare it with a 2l Petrol of the same age/mileage and see how it stacks up, money per kilometre

Problem in price comparison asking people in other countries is that Norway is the most expensive country in the world to buy a car!

To buy that car in UK on similar age/mileage is around 200,000 NOK to 240000 NOK.

Is there no option to get an electric car? I would go for this, if the electricity costs are low enough

Yeah i know its expensive, i vwould have importet id but import fee rounds it up to the norwegian price. The thing is that car market here is so ****, no good cars. Either they look lik ****, or they are expensive. Only other car mark that is decent is Audi, but they are also more expensive. For example 2018 a4 that has driven 100k, with 2.5l 190hp quattro costs almost 40k usd.

It's the difference in cultural perception. In the UK, I believe we turn-over cars a lot more than in other European countries. My dutch relatives can't understand when we switch cars with just 50k miles on it. They're like ... where's the other 150k??

I dont really want an electric yet, yes its cheap, but i want to enjoy petrol for a few more years. I really enjoy driving, and its just different feeling to drive petrol vs electric. But in 4-5 yeas i def will get an electric.

But what is your opinion aout that model? The go for 30-35k here. Im taking a loan, wich i will pay within 3 years, and prob after that i will sell it. Does it break often? I know gas usage isnt great but from what i heard its 7l/100km wich is good enough for me. Considering how hilly and ****ed norwegian roads are haha

My advice is that if you buy a MB Hybrid take out a MB extended warranty on it the repair bills can be eye watering

My advice would be just go for petrol. Is there a reason you want to get hybrid? Also, buy from the Mercedes dealer!

Yeah, ive read quite a bit on forehand and i know the electric range is almost nonexistent. It bothers me a bit, but i can look away from that fact, if the car is actually worth it.

Yeah, i would rather. But the market here is quite small. Only cars i know in norway that have rwd are lexus, MB and bmw. I could go for lexus, but they are also hybrids. I dont want bmw because they are expensive, same with repairs etc.

I prefer MB because they got good engines, they look best out of all of them, and come at a decent pricetag for the market here.

I were considering c180 or c220, but my friend told me that anything below 220 is a nono .

I dont raeally care that much about the hybrid part of c350e, i want it because the engine got still 210hp without the electric engine, it looks great since it got amg line stylingpack, and its rwd.

I think you already decided :p
Hahah, sorta yeah, but people fill me with doubt by asking questions i have no answer to, and it makes me question if its really worth it. I just wanted to hear opinions from someone who might have had one, who could fill me in a bit. I just want to know that if i buy it, that it wont break if taken care of for the next 3 years.
If there are any hidden flaws i should know about

It's very true that you'll still have the engine however, it will be much heavier and might actually negate the powerful petrol engine! If it were me, I'd go for Lexus or BMW (Yes I said it) but, it's down to taste I suppose.

If you're happy with the 350e that you've seen and it's from a dealer, and you can afford the extended warranty after 1 year - then go test-drive it!
