and filter and plugs? Not much on this site regarding the ML320.
I am new to Mercedes and ignorant. I find conflicting information. Seems Mercedes owners suck thir oil out instead of gravity and drain plug method. I read there are no oil drain plugs then I read there is. So far I am impressed with the oil filter location.
Also I almost hit 90,000 miles so any one that has any spark plug changing tips...I'm all ears. Thank You. Steve.

oil change

Hi

Yes there is an oil drain plug (as there is on all production Mercs) you need to drop the under tray at the front of the engine There are six (I think) plastic clips which are the cheapest nastiest most useless piece of sh1t you have ever come across, I admit that in the interest of time I break them and fit new ones ( 13p each).

Spark plugs on a 320 hope you have lots of time to spare, Two plugs per cylinder ( 12 plugs in all ) . I unbolt the coils which gives better access to the plug caps which tend to seize on, however with the coils off you can get a large screwdriver behind a ridge near the top of the cap and with the assistance of your other hand supporting the cap these usually can be released. take great care as the leads are easily damaged. If your carefull and reasonably competant it's a job worth doing yourself MB time is somewhere in the region of 2 hours ( 160 quid in north west) plus the cost of the plugs
