thing is when i had it in auto between 1and 2 there was a judder and wasnt that smoth between gear is this common
but when i had it in manuel is was alot smoother
anyhelp guys

Its not normal, may need a change of ATF otherwise it will need to be put on star to see if any faults are logged

The sequetronic box you experienced will offer a different change up and down to a standard auto box as its actually a clutchless manual.

No torque convertor

it needs to be driven as if it was a manual meaning a lift off during changes - which in manual mode you'll find easier than in auto mode when you have to react to the change up or down

Undue vibration shouldn't occur so then yes, it needs looking at, but IF it was your first experience of this box, its uniqueness may have caught you out

Smart and A class drivers are used it is as it is widely used in these.

It isn't to everyones taste
