C63S
Hi all, long time lurker first-time poster.

I have been thinking about buying the C63 S Coupe for a while now but after seeing this review by Matt Brand Cars I'm ready to pull the plug and just buy one.

But does anyone have experience driving the C43 vs the C63? Is it worth the extra cash? I live in a warmer climate area, but it does rain a lot so I'm not sure if I should just get the C43 and be okay with not having the madness of the C63?

Thanks!

Just get the 63 , you know thats what you want really

Yeah I know what my heart wants haha, I've test driven it and it was insane. Still would love to hear from the perspective of someone who has driven both :)

Don’t try a 63 if you want to buy a 43...

As BC says don’t try the 63 and well anything after that ( no disrespect to the 43 which is extremely capable ).
Just get it done , everyone should have a 63 at least once

I love how the C63 looks and sounds, it really is an awesome machine!
However just being an average person and not a driving god it wouldn't be for me for one important reason...and only watching 2 minutes of that video confirmed it for me.

I tried a C43 (modern electronic gibberish one) at castle combe. The chassis was a nice balance between sports and comfort so managed track work in a soft manner but its more at home on the road. Cabin is tiny and feels very claustrophobic. Gearbox shifts were quick (compared to what I usually drive) but, the whole thing felt like a computer game, totally isolated and distant, very forgettable experience.

I'd say go for a C63.

Hi Jimmy and welcome. I have a GLC43 and you can’t use all the power of that on UK roads. Personally, I can’t see why anyone would want a 63/s - but then I haven’t driven one! ;)

It's just the joy of driving a V8 Steve. Not a lot to do with the power available that you can't really use anyway :)

In the real world the c43 is probably quicker off the line thanks to four wheel drive. Console yourself with that, because the c63 experience knocks the c43 into a cocked hat. I love mine!
