Hi guys any help appreciated.
my karcher pressure washer died. So that’s the 3rd one I’ve had so I decided to try a Titan from screwfix. Same spec half the price, but unfortunately my karcher snow foam gun doesn’t fit and it doesn’t have a screw on fitting. Can you get a converter to go from karcher fittings to Titan.

It's Screwfix's own brand, bought my SIL a big SDS hammer drill (mains) some years ago, it's had much use and been excellent.

Was it a small karcher. I have always gone for thier higher priced machines, 200-300 range. My first lasted 16 years and only died as a bearing died, it puked oil. It was old enough to make getting parts not possible, plus I am not a fan of opening machines that are electrical where water is involved, you can never get them sealed right again.

Do you leave it in the shed in winter?

I got caught out with that before. The water in plastic 90 degree outlet bend froze and cracked it. I do keep it in the garage but I wrap it up in an old picnic blanket. This one started loosing pressure constantly pumping even at idle without trigger being pressed. Then it just pumped constant with no pressure. Karcher repair guy said bin it not worth repairing.

My last Karcher died too ...Who'd have thought that the inside of a shed could get so cold? it pumped but spewed out as much water from its base as it did from the lance. Stripped it down so far but couldn't see anything obvious, so bought .... another Karcher so that the accessories I already had would fit.
Karcher do a repair service but I didn't think the cost justified it, hence my new pressure washer.

I’ve bought a Titan pressure washer too, but only because instead of £80, I got it for £55 due to box damage, used it a couple of times now in anger and it seems to be very good, now I just need to purchase a snow foam Lance for it, though the current garden hose fed one I have is still usable, just seems to use a little too mu foam solution for my liking

I bought an Evo System (Mitsubishi engine) and accessories for a project I had back in 2013 and consider it best money well spent on shop tools in recent years, the jet wash unit runs at 175 Bar (220 Max) and will take the top coat of paint off the car with the wrong setting! And it brings brick, block and stone paviours up as new effortlessly, It also has a built in detergent/treatment/snowfoam delivery settings but it is rather noisy :)
