hello guys i am have problems with my key fob, it started a while ago, and then last week it stopped working altogether! even the red LED in the key fob had stopped working. i had a look on the internet for a solution and the most common cause was a faulty button inside the key fob, so i opened it up and yes the button had came off, so i soldered it back on, and yet it still doesn't work! the LED lights up now, but i cannot lock/unlock the car, i read somewhere about RESYNC the key, i've tried pressing the fob button twice and the putting key in to position 2, but no joy. earlier today however i got in my car and pressed to button and it worked for a few seconds. does anyone know how i can fix this??

Do check the key in front of a digital camera to be sure that it is putting out a beam

mercedes c180 coupe Kompressor from 2003
Hi Everyone,
I have recently bought a Mercedes C180 Coupe 2003 and have trouble with the key fob. The key starts the car but does not open the doors. I already changed batteries and synchronised the fob. Now the fob just seems to work sometimes, it only works when is night, when is daylight, it does not work again. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks.
