Hi everyone. I got a puddle of diesel under my ML270 (WDC163113).
I have tracked it down to a unit near to the front of the injector rail. I was wondering a) if someone could identify this for me? and b) can I remove and bung the pipe to it while I wait for a new part to arrive?
Thanking you all in anticipation.
PJ

Leak

Hi FP,

Yes you probably could just plug it, I think its a test point for fuel pressure. You could remove and refit the plug (push back the white plastic collar) to see if it seals. All of these pipes in this area are prone to leaks at the O rings, if you disturb them, they leak. Might be best to consider replacing all pipes (5 I think), about £70 from dealer. I had to to on my 2002.
