LED vs HID

I put error free LED sidelights on my BMW, guess what, I get sidelight failure error, so don't believe what these companies say

I know that's why I have tried going for the slightly more expensive LEDs hopefully they will work

Good plan. Don't forget it's also illegal to use front fogs except in seriously-reduced visibility (HC 226 & 236) .
